Description
The College of the Redwoods rodeo program trains at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds. The inaugural Outlaw College Rodeo fundraiser event is scheduled for August 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM, featuring live music performances after the rodeo. The rodeo will feature college competitors from throughout the state in a do-it-yourself effort by organizers and current College of the Redwoods rodeo coaches that promises much excitement in the Outlaw Rodeo College Invitational.Grandstands will open at 1 p.m. for the rodeo and subsequent performances by Justin Lawrence and the Double Average Band and Flat River Band. Categories include Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Calf Roping, and more! It's sure to be a fantastic Ferndale event!
Justin Lawrence & The Double Average Band
Justin Lawrence is a professional saddle bronc rider and country music singer. From the saddle to the stage, he boasts impressive skill and talent. He and his band will take the stage at the Humboldt County Fair on August 15th, 6:30 PM.*
Flat River Band
Flat River Band is comprised of three brothers, Andy, Chad, and Dennijo Sitze. Alongside their parents and grandparents, they held residencies at Silver Dollar City in Missouri and Dollywood in Tennessee. They have multiple #1 hits on the bluegrass gospel charts and will wow crowds at the Humboldt County Fair on August 15th at 7:30 PM.
